Contacting FALK employees
Besides cookies, there is no way to transmit data through this website. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us of your own accord, for example in the context of an inquiry. At present, this data would still be transmitted unencrypted. Therefore, the it could be possible for unauthorized third parties to read this data during transmission. However, it is possible to use alternative communication channels that are more secure than e-mail (e.g. telephone calls). When you contact us, we will store information we receive from you to enable current and future conversations. This includes names, contact information and conversation history. This storage and further processing only takes place if it is necessary either for the fulfilment of a contract between FALK and you, for the execution of pre-contractual measures which take place at your request or for the protection of the legitimate interests of FALK in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. for GDPR. Your data would remain in Germany and will not be given to third parties: only FALK and IT service providers receive this data. If no legal retention obligation exists, this data will be regularly deleted within the next 12 months after termination of the contractual agreement between FALK and your company.
Your rights
You have the right of access according to Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification according to Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure according to Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR, a right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR and the right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR. If a processing activity is carried out on the basis of your consent, you also have the right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
The restrictions according to §§ 34 and 35 BDSG-neu apply to the right to access and the right of erasure. In addition, there is a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with § 19 BDSG-neu).

To protect the employee/customer/supplier data that we have stored from unintentional or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or from access by unauthorized persons, we have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures. The security level is regularly reviewed in collaboration with security experts and is adapted to comply with the latest security standards.
Video and audio conferences
Video and audio conferences held via Microsoft Teams may be recorded. When you participate in a conference, you will be asked in advance whether you consent to the recording. You have the choice of consenting to or refusing the recording. If you consent to the recording, your image and sound will be recorded and your name will remain visible. If you decline the recording, your image and sound will not be recorded, but your name will still be visible. If you decline the recording, you can still participate in the conference without restriction, without your audio or video data being recorded. Not consenting to the recording has no effect on your participation. The recording of image and sound is based solely on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Your data will be used solely for the purpose of providing the video recordings. If you do not consent to the recording, your image and sound data will not be stored. However, your personal data, such as your name, will remain visible for the duration of the conference. Recordings that include image and sound will be deleted after the end of the conference or after the specified storage period, provided that there are no legal retention requirements.
